Cardinal Maritime Manchester Project: Elevating Excellence in Collaboration
At Cardinal Maritime Manchester, we take immense pride in the successful completion of this project, achieved through our collaboration with Sheridan Lifts.
Our journey began with a clear directive from our client: to replace an existing platform lift in the reception area with a superior solution. With unwavering commitment, MD Construction took on this challenge within a live building environment.
Securing the Site
The first step was to ensure the safety and integrity of the site. To achieve this, we implemented our timber hoarding solution, isolating the work area from the bustling surroundings.
Precise Excavation
To accommodate the new lift, we excavated a 1200mm pit while establishing a stable foundation with a 300mm concrete footing. Our attention to detail in this critical phase laid the groundwork for a seamless project execution.
Building the Lift Shaft
The construction of the lift shaft was a pivotal phase in the project. Employing 10n 100mm breeze blocks, we made a robust structure that would house the upcoming installation.
Sheridan Lifts’ Expertise
Turning the reins over to Sheridan Lifts, experts in the field, we entrusted them with the installation of their cutting-edge product. Their proficiency ensured that the lift system would meet the highest standards of functionality and safety.
The Final Flourish
To bring the project to its polished conclusion, we undertook the finishing touches. This encompassed the installation of plasterboard, plastering and the final touches. The result is not just an elevating experience but an aesthetically pleasing one too.
This project stands as a testament to our commitment to excellence in construction.
